Alicia Osur oversees conference planning, coordinates training and outreach events, and manages NYSDRA's AmeriCorps contract, as the Director of Programs and Membership Engagement. She leads efforts to engage and retain members through the development and management of member-based programs.
Her life-long commitment for volunteering and service includes the Boys and Girls Club of Schenectady and Shaker Road-Loudonville Fire Department Auxiliary.
Alicia was honored to be the recipient of two awards; MPI Upstate New York Chapter’s “Volunteer of the Year” and the Capital Region YMCA “Adult Achiever” for work on behalf of Black and Latino Achievers and recognized by Please Remember Me, a veteran’s organization, for her volunteer work on their behalf. Alicia graduated from the University of Rochester with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She resides in Albany with her husband, Scott.
