Paula Dischinger Miranda, Project Associate for the Special Education Mediation Program,  is a Brazilian attorney and certified mediator whose expertise spans both legal arbitration and conflict resolution. With a law degree from the prestigious Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo and postgraduate degrees in Business Law from Fundação Getúlio Vargas and Negotiation, Mediation, and Conflict Resolution from the Catholic University of Portugal, she brings a comprehensive understanding of dispute resolution across cultures and jurisdictions.

Over the course of her career, she has developed a passion for helping individuals resolve disputes through constructive dialogue. As Coordinator of the Judicial Mediation Area at CS Views Mediação e Arbitragem, she led complex mediation sessions and managed a team of mediators, demonstrating her commitment to excellence in alternative dispute resolution. Her experience in arbitration at prominent firms like Ana Weber Advogados and Eizirik Advogados has given her valuable insights into both facilitative and evaluative approaches to conflict resolution.

Dedicated to promoting equitable and balanced outcomes, Paula aims to create environments where all parties feel heard and valued. Her recent completion of Basic Mediation Training at the New York City Bar Association complements her certification from the Instituto de Certificação e Formação de Mediadores Lusófonos, reflecting her commitment to continuous professional development.
